June 8th, 2020:: Thurston County IANDS Meeting postponed until Lacey Library reopens. Delays have been due to pandemic restrictions and library renovations. We Shall return!

WONDERS AND MIRACLES

As a young woman, Jackie Huetter contracted polio while volunteering in an orphanage overseas.  She had a Near Death experience that gave her a renewed sense of purpose and showed her that death was nothing to fear.

While she describes herself as “just an ordinary person,” Jackie’s sacred experience fills her with delight over everyday wonders and miracles (though she admits miracles can be hard work and heart work). This influences how she approaches life, teaches children and assists people in their dying time.  It has also taken her on very unexpected adventures and helps her deal with chronic pain.

XXX Please join us on  MOMDAY, JUNE 8th, from 3 to 5:30 pm, at the LACEY LIBRARY. Thurston County IANDS is a free forum, offered the second or third Monday of every month, and is open to the public. XXX CANCELLED UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE, DUE TO LIBRARY’S CORONAVIRUS PRECAUTIONS.

Open discussion follows our guest speakers’ presentations.  All questions and ideas are shared   in a safe, friendly way.  Participants include people of all ages and stages, including caregivers, medical personnel, military, students, people experiencing grief and terminal illness, and those who are just plain curious.

NO SNACK TABLE WILL BE OFFERED, BUT OUR FREE GIVE-AND-TAKE BOOK TABLE WILL BE AVAILABLE.
